Terms and Conditions
Here are our trip and event policies. Please review these policies, so that you understand our and your rights as it pertains to our trip and event refund policies.












Quick Definitions
Customer/Client/Guest: Any customer who has paid in full or is returning for continued services.
Host: The person who is in charge of the trip.
Trip: Any overnight stay at or beyond 4 nights unless otherwise specified in the function details.*
Event: Any overnight/weekend function up to or less than 4 nights unless otherwise specified in the function details.*
Social/Social Event: Any function that takes place on a singular or multi-day basis, usually during the week, over a holiday, or more commonly on or over a weekend unless otherwise specified in the function details.
Course/Class: Any function that involves e-learning, pool/open water diving, or any combination therein, for the purpose of furthering a diver’s experience.
Single Occupancy: When a room, bed, or other facility is occupied by one person.
Double Occupancy: When a room, bed, or other facility is occupied by two (2) people.
Multiple Occupancy: When a room, bed, or other facility is occupied by more than two (2) people. This is most often seen in hotel rooms with more than one bed OR cruise ship staterooms.
Adult: Any person who is 12 years of age or older. This age is defined by IATA, and may change based on the trip, event, social, or other activity.
Child: Any person who is less than 12 years of age or older. This age is defined by IATA, and may change based on the trip, event, social, or other activity.
Refund: The action of returning monies paid for a trip, event, social, class, etc. for any given number of reasons.

Trip Refund Policies
All trips are based on double occupancy. Single divers/participants will be charged at a higher rate. Patrons must pay the balance in full at the time of purchase if the trip is purchase in our shop. 50% of the total cost will be set in reserve as a non-refundable deposit. If patrons wish to be invoiced for the trip as to allow a payment system to be in place, a 50% deposit plus 3.9% service fee (per transaction) will be required at the time of invoicing before a reservation is made. All patrons will be responsible for transportation TO the trip destination, and the return transportation home (unless otherwise noted within the trip listing).
Refund Policy:
Outstanding Invoices:
Once room and dive boat reservations have been made, all outstanding invoices must be paid in full no later than 3 months prior to the trip. if payment in full has not been received, then the following refund schedule will apply:
3 Months 1 Day: Deposit is forfeited.
2 Months:
Deposit Forfeited + 50% of the remaining trip total for any/all persons cancelling.
1 Month:
Deposit forfeited + 75% of the remaining trip total for any/all persons cancelling.
2 weeks prior:
100% trip cost forfeiture.
Fully Paid Trips:
Once room and dive boat reservations have been made, the following refund schedule will apply:
4 Months Before or Earlier:
Deposit is forfeited.
3 months:
Deposit forfeited + 25% of the remaining trip total for any/all persons cancelling.
2 Months:
Deposit Forfeited + 50% of the remaining trip total for any/all persons cancelling.
1 Month:
Deposit forfeited + 75% of the remaining trip total for any/all persons cancelling.
2 weeks prior:
100% trip cost forfeiture.
Refunds will not be given for bad weather, missed flights, missed flight connections, missed buses, missed ferries, etc. Refunds may be given on a case-by-case basis for medical reasons BEFORE the trip (but not after the trip has started) with proper notification and proof from a license doctor and verification. Deposits will still be forfeited.
Last Minute Bookings:
Last minute bookings are considered “last minute” any time at or after 2 months prior to the trip. Last minute bookers must pay in full at the time of booking and will be subject to the refund schedule closest to the time of the booking (i.e. if you book at 3.5 months prior to the trip, you will be subject to the 3 month cancellation schedule).






Event Refund Policy
In general, our events are not considered refundable unless otherwise specified in the event description. Our events are generally considered rain or shine unless otherwise specified in the trip description. In the case of bad weather, we reserve the right to move or keep the event date(s) as originally advertised.






Social Event Refund Policy
In general, our socials are not considered refundable unless otherwise specified in the event description. Our social events are generally considered rain or shine unless otherwise specified in the trip description. In the case of bad weather, we reserve the right to move or keep the event date(s) as originally advertised.
Course Refund Policy
Our courses are not refundable and are considered weather-dependent for Open Water Diver students, and mostly rain or shine for specialties and professional courses. If weather becomes an issue, we may postpone the course for the safety of all divers, and reschedule the course for another time. Divers that fail any part of their applicable course(s) will be eligible to re-take the portion(s) failed, but will be required to pay the entrance fees into the training location(s). If a diver fails any portion of their courses a second time, they will be required to wait 6 months, attend another academics course, and pay the current price for the course.
